Technical details
The NetMobile set was a self-contained networked multimedia communications facility, comprising a LAN running a TCP/IP network under Windows 95; with an independent Internet domain. On the LAN was a router with a basic rate ISDN interface which supports a switched 64Kbps or 128Kbps link to an Internet Service Provider POP.
The PC workstations deployed were fully equipped for multi-media, and in addition to standard browser software they support the full range of services now available on the Internet (Interactive video, telephony, IRC, Mail, News, FTP, Telnet, TN3270, VRML, etc).
