Product Information

The Modular Technology 'HW560-LT' modem is a fully-featured multi-standard modem for lap-top PCs. It provide an asynchronous data throughput up to 230.4Kbps making it a powerful PCMCIA card modems for 'casual' or 'power-users' alike. It supports both V42bis and MNP for data compression and operates with all widely used data transmission standards up to V.90 (ie. 56000bps). The modem also supports fax with Class 1 and Class 2 interfaces for operation up to 14400bps send or receive.
The HW560-LT modem is configured from a Laptop PC using an extended Hayes AT command set and it is compatible with most communications software and Windows-95 + Windows-98

Operational modes
V.90 and K56flex (up to 56000bps receive) V34 (up to 33600bps), V32bis (14400bps), V32 (9600), V22bis (2400), V22 (1200), V23(1200/75 asymetric), V21 (300) Async. full duplex data on dial-up lines. Also supports V.80 (Synchronous Access Mode) and also PC-based DSVD. Modem has low-power sleep mode (typically consumes only 135mW).
