Music Store is an MP3 player for home use which can compress and store the music from many CDs. MusicStore functions like a 'juke-box'. It connects to a conventional hifi amplifier for playing music in the home.

MusicStore's greatest benefit is its convenience, power and flexibility in the selection of music to be played. Finding an album, artist, compilation or track to be played couldn't be easier, simply enter a name and MusicStore will search for the music So there's no more need to scan through your collection looking for a particular CD, simply type in the CD title or artist's name and press the play button. MusicStore's random playback feature allows you to play a complete selection of music by your favourite artist or in a particular style quickly and easily.

When using its inbuilt CD player, it records a copy of the music from every album played. The user has facilities to name all albums, tracks and artists and to assign a style to each piece of music. Music can then be selected/played by name or style. MusicStore provides a plug-in slot for the SoulMate portable MP3 player and supports an extremely fast download (approximately 20 seconds for 1 hour of music) MusicStore's keypad has a smart interface (T9) which is able to guess the words you want to type by looking in its custom dictionary.

• Functionality when connected to a PC by USB connection:

1. Use MusicMatch software on PC to encode from Audio CD (or download MP3 music from the Internet)
2. Use MusicMatch software on PC to name artists and tracks.
3. Download music from PC to MusicStore, this includes downloading the names for tracks/artists/CDs and music genre.
4. Delete (one or all) tracks on MusicStore's hard disk from MusicMatch on PC
